Privacy Policy
The short version
- You can play without creating an account. The game gives your device a random player ID so it can save your progress online.
- Your year of birth stays on your device. We use it only to decide whether ads may be personalized and whether gameplay statistics may be collected.
- Players under 13 (under 16 in the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and US states with privacy laws) never get personalized ads, and we collect no gameplay statistics from them.
- Adults get personalized ads only if they agree. On iPhone and iPad, Apple's tracking prompt asks first.
- Purchases go through Apple or Google. We never see your card or bank details.
- No chat, no user-generated content, no location tracking, no contacts, no photos, no camera or microphone.
- You can delete your account in the game or by email. See Delete your account.

1. Who we are
All the Presents! is made by Sorin Ionut Petreasca, an independent developer based in Romania (European Union). He is the data controller for the personal data described here. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean him.

2. What we collect and why
2.1 On your device only
The game keeps these files on your phone or tablet. They are not sent to us:
- your settings (sound, music, tilt steering and its calibration);
- your progress (Stages, stars, Presents, suits, items, records);
- your answers to the first-launch questions: your year of birth, whether a consent form applied to you and your answer, and your answer to Apple's tracking prompt;
- a small counter that limits how many gameplay statistics are sent each month.
Tilt steering reads your device's motion sensor. That data is used on the device to move Santa and is never sent anywhere.
The year of birth cannot be changed in the game. It is asked again only if you reinstall the game.
2.2 Your player ID and saved progress (every player)
When the game starts, Unity's sign-in service (Unity Authentication) creates an anonymous player ID for your device. Nothing you type is needed. We use it to:
- keep a copy of your progress online (Unity Cloud Save), so it survives a reinstall and can follow you to other devices. The copy holds your Stages and stars, Presents and items, suits, the products you own, records, missions and which story pages and tips you have seen. It does not hold your year of birth, your privacy answers or your settings. Each installation also gets a random ID so that Presents earned and spent on different devices add up correctly;
- load the game's settings and prices from Unity (Unity Remote Config). With that request the game sends its version, your platform (iOS or Android) and the country part of your device's language setting (for example "RO").
Like any online service, Unity also receives your device's IP address (from which an approximate country or region can be worked out), a random installation ID and basic technical details when the game connects, and records when you sign in.
2.3 Game Center and Google Play Games
If you are signed in to Apple Game Center (iPhone, iPad) or Google Play Games (Android), the game links your Game Center or Play Games player identifier to your player ID. This is how your progress follows you to another iPhone or iPad with the same Game Center account. The game also reports your best climbs to leaderboards and unlocks achievements. Apple and Google show your nickname, scores and achievements to other players according to your Game Center or Play Games settings. We do not receive your Apple ID, Google account email or password.
2.4 "Save my progress" (optional account)
In Settings you can choose Save my progress to play on iPhone, iPad and Android with one account. This uses Unity Player Accounts: you sign in with Apple, with Google or with an email address on a page run by Unity. Unity keeps that login: the account's email address (with Apple, this may be a private relay address) and, depending on the provider, possibly the name on the account. The game itself learns only which kind of sign-in you used ("with Apple", "with Google" or "with email"), so it can show it in Settings. We never see your password.
2.5 Gameplay statistics (Unity Analytics)
To learn which levels are too hard, where players get stuck and whether the economy is fair, the game sends gameplay events to Unity Analytics. It does this only for players aged 13 or over (16 or over in the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and US states with privacy laws), and in those regions only if you agreed in the consent form. For a child, a player whose age is not known, or a player who said no, nothing is collected or kept for later.
The events cover things like: a Stage or climb starting and ending, how far you climbed and how long it took, what ended a run (a fall, an enemy, a hazard), Presents collected and spent, revives, the suit worn, which button you pressed on a result screen, which tip cards appeared, whether an ad was offered or watched, missions completed, and purchases (the item and its price in Presents or the store product name, never payment details). Every event carries the game's version, build and platform. Unity's software adds pseudonymous identifiers (your player ID, an installation ID and, on iPhone and iPad, the vendor identifier), session times and device details such as model, operating system, memory, screen, language and approximate country.
We use these statistics only to improve the game. We do not use them for advertising, we do not combine them with data from other apps, and we do not sell them.
2.6 Ads
The game is free and is paid for by ads: a video you can choose to watch for a reward (an extra try, or a bigger gift from Snowflake), and full-screen ads between rounds once you have played the first few Stages. Buying No Ads or one of the bundles removes the ads between rounds.
Ads are delivered through Unity LevelPlay, which picks an ad from our ad partners (currently ironSource Ads and Unity Ads, both part of Unity Technologies; we may add others, see section 6). When an ad is requested and shown, these partners collect information such as:
- your device's advertising identifier: on iPhone and iPad (IDFA) only if you tap Allow on Apple's tracking prompt; on Android, the Android advertising ID unless you have deleted or reset it in your phone's settings;
- other device identifiers, your IP address (from which an approximate location such as country or city can be estimated), device model, operating system, language and app version;
- ad interactions: which ads were loaded, shown, completed or tapped.
Personalized ads (ads chosen using your activity across other apps and websites) are used only for adults who agree: where the law requires consent (the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and US states with privacy laws) through a consent form from Google, and on iPhone and iPad only after you allow tracking in Apple's prompt. If you decline, you still see ads, but they are not personalized.
Before any ad loads, the game tells LevelPlay whether to treat you as a child (from your year of birth) and passes on your consent choice. Children only ever get non-personalized ads from networks certified for Google Play's Families policy, and the game never shows them Apple's tracking prompt.
Ad partners act under their own privacy policies for the data they collect (linked in section 6).
2.7 Purchases
Purchases (Presents packs, No Ads, bundles) are made through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google handle the payment; we never see your card, bank or billing details. Your device receives a purchase confirmation (product, transaction ID and receipt), which the game checks on the device. What you own is recorded in your saved progress so it can follow you. Restore purchases asks Apple or Google for the purchases on your store account again.
2.8 Technical diagnostics
The Unity engine that runs the game may send Unity basic technical reports, such as crash reports and anonymous hardware information (device model, operating system, graphics chip), so Unity and we can fix crashes and performance problems.
2.9 When you email us
If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message (for example your player ID or device model). We use it only to answer you. Our mailbox is a Gmail account, so Google processes these emails for us.
3. What we do not collect
- No chat, messaging or user-generated content.
- No precise location (GPS), contacts, photos, camera, microphone or health data.
- No real name, address or phone number.
- No payment card or bank details.
- We do not sell your personal data for money.
4. Legal bases (EEA and UK)
| Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6) |
|---|---|
| Running the game, your player ID, saving and syncing progress, Game Center / Play Games, "Save my progress", delivering purchases and restores | Performance of our agreement with you (6(1)(b)) |
| Loading game settings and prices, keeping the service secure, preventing fraud, fixing crashes, answering support emails, showing non-personalized ads that keep the game free | Our legitimate interests (6(1)(f)) |
| Personalized ads; gameplay statistics where we ask for consent (the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and US states with privacy laws); access to your advertising identifier on iPhone and iPad | Your consent (6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time |
| Gameplay statistics for adults outside the regions above | Our legitimate interest in improving the game (6(1)(f)) |
| Keeping records we must keep by law, such as a record of a deletion request | Legal obligation (6(1)(c)) |
5. Children
All the Presents! is a family-friendly game for a general audience. It is not directed at children. On first launch the game asks for your year of birth, neutrally and without suggesting an answer. If you are under 13, or under 16 in the EEA, the UK, Switzerland or a US state with privacy laws:
- no gameplay statistics are collected;
- ads are never personalized and come only from networks certified for Google Play's Families policy;
- the game tells the ad service to treat you as a child (including under the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act);
- Apple's tracking prompt is never shown.
The anonymous player ID and the online copy of progress are still used, only to run the game. Game Center and Google Play Games follow the parental controls that Apple and Google provide.
If you are a parent or guardian and think your child has given us personal data, for example in an email or through an email sign-in, write to enigmasoftworks@gmail.com and we will delete it.
6. Who processes your data
We work with these companies. Unity provides our game services as our service provider. Apple and Google provide their stores, Game Center and Play Games under their own terms. Ad partners decide how they use ad data under their own policies.
| Company | What for | Data involved | Privacy policy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Unity Technologies (Unity Gaming Services) | Player ID (Authentication), saved progress (Cloud Save), game settings (Remote Config), gameplay statistics (Analytics), "Save my progress" (Player Accounts), engine diagnostics | Player ID, progress, Game Center / Play Games player identifiers, sign-in details, gameplay events, device and app details, IP address | Game Player and App User Privacy Policy · Unity Privacy Policy |
| Unity LevelPlay, ironSource Ads and Unity Ads (Unity Technologies) | Choosing and showing ads (mediation and ad networks) | Advertising ID (if allowed), device identifiers and details, IP address and approximate location, ad interactions, child and consent signals | Game Player and App User Privacy Policy |
| Consent form for personalized ads (User Messaging Platform); Google Play purchases; Google Play Games; Gmail for support emails; Google AdMob as an ad network if we add it | IP address and region, consent choice, purchase records, Play Games profile, your emails to us, ad data as above | Google Privacy Policy · How Google uses data from partner apps | |
| Apple | App Store purchases, Game Center, the App Tracking Transparency prompt | Purchase records, Game Center profile, your tracking choice | Apple Privacy Policy |
We will update this list if we add or change partners. We may also disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of players or the game.
7. International transfers
Our partners may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. When they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under the GDPR, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, as described in their privacy policies.
8. How long we keep it
| Data | Kept |
|---|---|
| Files on your device (settings, progress, year of birth, privacy answers) | Until you delete the game from your device |
| Player ID and online progress (Unity Authentication and Cloud Save) | Until you delete your account, or until we shut down the game's online services |
| "Save my progress" login (Unity Player Accounts) | Kept by Unity until you delete that login with Unity; the link to our game is removed when you delete your account |
| Gameplay statistics (Unity Analytics) | Raw events are deleted automatically by Unity after 13 months; data tied to your player ID is deleted sooner when you delete your account. Reports may keep totals that no longer identify anyone. |
| Ad data | Kept by the ad partners under their own policies |
| Purchase records | Kept by Apple or Google under their own policies (they are the seller and must keep them by law) |
| Support emails | As long as needed to help you, and no longer than 2 years after our last message, unless we must keep them longer for a legal claim |
9. Your choices
- Consent and tracking: in the game, open Settings → More → Privacy. Where the consent form applies to you (EEA, UK, Switzerland and US states with privacy laws), Privacy choices reopens it so you can review or withdraw your consent or opt out of sale or sharing. On iPhone and iPad, Tracking settings opens the game's page in your phone's Settings, where you can turn Allow Tracking on or off. You can also turn tracking off for all apps in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android advertising ID: in your phone's settings (usually Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Settings → Google → Ads) you can delete or reset your advertising ID.
- Game Center and Play Games: manage your profile, visibility and sign-in in your phone's Game Center settings or the Google Play Games app.
- "Save my progress": sign out at any time in Settings. Your progress stays on that device.
- Delete your account: see Delete your account.
- Ads between rounds: buy No Ads or a bundle in the game's Store.
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR (and similar laws elsewhere) you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy;
- have it corrected or deleted;
- restrict or object to how we use it, including objecting to processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what was done before you withdrew it.
To use these rights, email enigmasoftworks@gmail.com. Because you play without giving us your name, please include the information that lets us find your data (see what to include). We may ask for more information to confirm a request is yours. We answer within one month.
You can also complain to a data protection authority. In Romania this is the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro. You may also contact the authority where you live or work.
11. United States and California
We do not sell personal information for money. Showing personalized ads may count as "sharing" personal information for targeted advertising under California and other US state laws. You can opt out by declining in the consent form or under Settings → More → Privacy, by not allowing tracking on iPhone and iPad, or by deleting your Android advertising ID. You can also ask us to know, correct or delete your personal information by emailing us. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of players under 16 in these states: the game treats them as children (see section 5).
12. Security
The game talks to our partners over encrypted connections (HTTPS). We do not store passwords: sign-ins are handled by Apple, Google and Unity. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect so there is less to protect.
This website
This website uses no cookies, analytics or trackers, and loads nothing from other sites. Like any website, its host receives your IP address and browser details to deliver the pages.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. For important changes, we will also tell players in the game or on the store page where appropriate.
